Problem with the e-mail service

We have some problem with the e-mail service and there seems to be problem with verification of e-mail address which is a requirement before new users are allowed to log in to the system. This however only appear in the production environment and not in the development environment, but we are working on fixing it.
It looks like our developer have find the problem and now working on a fix.
