📱 A Fresh New Look for the Mobile App
Here's what's new:
🎨 A fresh new design
The whole app has a new look and feel, with clearer screens for logging in, registering, and confirming your email, plus easier-to-read error messages along the way. A new bottom navigation makes getting around simpler too.
👨👩👧 A clearer view for parents
A new home screen shows each child's gaming and screen time at a glance. A "Needs you" section brings any requests from your kids right to the top, so approving or declining takes seconds. New families are welcomed with a guided setup instead of an empty screen.
🎮 A clearer view for kids
Children can see how much time they have left, their screen time plan, and any upcoming breaks. They can ask for more time and see right away whether a parent has responded. Turning the phone sideways brings up a full-screen timer, so checking in doesn't mean stepping out of the game. A new "My schedule" screen shows their plan for the week, and breaks now show a live timer too.
🗓️ Flexible schedules, your way
A new settings hub makes it easy to set daily screen time, allowed hours, and a weekly plan for each child. Parents can build a set of rules once and apply it instantly, and scheduled breaks can be created and edited anytime.
🎯 Quests, rewards, and a time bank
A new Quests tab lets kids earn extra time by completing quests, which they can save in a time bank and use whenever it suits them. Rewards can be turned in right from the child's side. If a feature isn't included in your current plan, you'll see a clear message letting you know.
👪 Easier family management
Managing your family is now simpler and more flexible. Invite and edit members, set your family’s time zone, and switch between families if you’re an adult in more than one. Children can also request to switch families, with a parent’s approval. We’ve refreshed the invitations screen and added a new Account screen for profile settings, notifications, help, and support. Plus, the new “Your plan” screen makes it easy to see your family’s plan and what’s included.
